You guys absolutely killed me on the last Caption Contest. Why? Because there were so. many. good ones! Whew. It was so hard to choose.
In fact, I had to pick TWO winners from the six-word story category. (We didn’t have any flash fiction entries.) So congrats to both of the winners and, honestly, congrats to everyone who entered – they were just all so good.
Our picture for the contest was:

Excavatia and Lily! Here are the winning entries:
Beautifully defiant. Hopeful and resolute. (Excavatia)
Ship crashed. Alone, stranded on Mars. (Lily)
Way to go, everyone! Let’s dive right into our next Caption Contest. Remember, six-word stories or flash fiction (fifty words or less), and no more than two entries per person.

Have fun with this beautiful scene! 🙂 Winners will be announced in two weeks.
Alone in the woods
Hidden as could be
A little fairy house
To tiny too see
Magic all around
Look closely to see it
Close, a little closer. . .
Do you think you could see it?

Fairy house, small and meek
The size of a kiss on your cheek.
The wind whistles with their voices on the wind –
Can you hear it? Or is it imagined?
Little lights, tiny garden
Maybe even a fairy woman.
In a land far far away, stands a tree tall during the day.
Ordinary and simple, tall and bright.
But at night you will see
A little fairy village just for you and me.
