We’re back for another Caption Challenge! I was so pleased with how the last one went, and I can’t wait to see what you guys come up with for this one.
Remember, your entry in the comments can be a six-word story or flash fiction (50 words or less) based on the picture. No more than two entries, please.
This round is going to run for TWO weeks instead of one, so winners will be announced on August 14th.
And now . . . the picture.

Birds are like memories
They come to you
Very quickly and cleverly
Almost like deja Vu
Don’t chase them,
They might fly
Just cherish them
With all your might

Feathers to fingers
Forty days of flight.
Waters to ocean,
Rainy days and nights.
Seas seeming endless.
Not a strip of sand.
Treetops are hiding.
There’s no place to land.
Winds are still blowing
Is that a ridge of stone?
Water surrounds it.
It stands so far alone.
Landing exhausted.
Without the strength to rise.
An olive leaf is growing.
The bird retrieves her prize.
The seeds are now renewing.
The bird regains her stand.
With a twig of this rebirthing
Her flight returns to man.

Even if I cannot fly
I will spread my wings
And stand my ground
Silent no more
I will be heard
I cannot be defective
When I am with Him
Singing His word

1) Her wings take flight to light.
2) She soars high, grasping for freedom.
