Oh. My. Bookshelf. It’s finally here! After all these years (has it been years or is that my imagination?) Promised Land is about to be launched into the world of readers. I couldn’t be happier to have the hard work pay off. For better or worse, this baby is getting off my computer and into the hands of . . . you. 🙂

I have a release date.

Promised Land will release on . . .

JANUARY 25th, 2021

That’s right! Less than a month from now! I’ve known the date for a while, but there were some details to iron out before I could announce it.

And with a release date comes blog tour sign-ups! I will have advanced reader copies available if you are willing to leave a COMPLETELY HONEST review somewhere on the web (Amazon, Goodreads, your blog, etc.). I can’t tell you how important it is for reviews to be posted on and around the release day.

Also, there is a little perk for everyone who joins our blog tour team . . . YOU will get the first peek at the book cover before anyone else. The cover is not quite completed, but I’m excited for it already. 😊

For new followers, here is the synopsis of Promised Land:

Talia has lived her whole life in the mountains, sheltered from the conflicts raging in her world. But when the flatlanders’ intolerance for her family’s faith in Adonai is brought to their doorstep, they are thrust into a struggle against the king’s “reformation” efforts, which are designed to change their beliefs in any way necessary.

The son of a reformer, Owen was assigned as a spy to the mountains and was partly responsible for the arrest of Talia’s family. But this has never been a simple job for him. His brother is a Follower, in hiding. Owen swore to protect him. The responsibility he feels towards Talia is dangerous – could get him killed. But does he have a choice?

Talia watches a young reformer struggle to find where his loyalties lie. Owen witnesses the breaking of a young woman’s faith, until she must choose between her faith and her freedom. And neither one expects to find victory.

The book is geared toward young adults, but it is suitable for anyone who loves fantasy. There are no magic elements in the story, and no excessive gore, though there are instances of violence.

So without further ado, here is the sign-up for the Promised Land blog tour. I cannot thank you enough for supporting me as I release my debut novel.

If you have any questions, please let me know! ❤
