First Day of School With Phoenix!

From my dog blog today, an update on Goldendoodle Phoenix and her super fun field trip! (With writing and now school, I’ve fallen behind in blogging. But I’ll be back shortly!)

Kindred Canines

Homeschool has its benefits – like a field trip to the ocean for the first day of school. 🙂 That’s what we did two days ago, and our little puppy Phoenix came with us.

As it turns out, Phoenix loves seaweed. She couldn’t get enough of rolling around in it. She also did great in the truck, and loved the park we stopped at. (That particular park also had an old wooden swing overlooking the ocean.) Seriously, I wish we had taken more pictures.

Phoenix enjoys going to new places, seeing and smelling new things, but her biggest issue is with strangers and other dogs. She’s terrified of them. She will come to accept a stranger, but it takes a while. Once she does, she’s okay, and she especially likes kids who will play gently with her. But when you’re hopping from…
